On the 14 th of March my daughter in law booked myself and my husband as well as herself, her husband and kids into the hotel on our way to Plettenbergbay. When we got to the hotel reception it looked if we made a good choice. After booking in we went for a drink waited about 25 min for our drinks. Because it was my sons 30 th birthday she ordered a cake from the restaurant a day or 2 before. We were charged R185-00 per head for the buffet - the food were below standard. When the cake arrived we saw it was not very fresh. My daughter in law asked the waiter when it was baked he then told us it was not baked on the premises - when we complained the cake as well as 2 Don Pedro's were taken off the bill. While having dinner we noticed about 10 dead flies in the windowsill not something you want to see while having dinner. When we got to the room we noticed a few ants in our room 412 - they became more during the night and we were unable to sleep as the ants were in the bed. The next morning we were unable to make coffee as the ants were all over and also in the kettle. We were planing to sleep there again on our way back but after our unpleasant stay we decided against it
