We booked on the Southern Sun website for a stay in April at the Garden Court Kings Beach hotel. There is no notice on the Southern Sun website that they are a Discovery partner, and no option to enter in our Vitality numbers. After paying for a deposit on our stay we noticed that we are eligible for a 35% Vitality discount. However when enquiring with the hotel they respond that we should have booked through the Discovery site, and that they will not refund our deposit if we re-book. Given that this is only a proviosional booking - it should not be impossible to update our booking with the Vitality information? We should be at least be able to re-book through the Discovery site and receive our deposit back once we have given proof of our new booking - given that we will still be staying at the hotel over the same period.
