On the 23 Dec 2013 I booked accomodation with discovery vitality in december for 2 nights, I then called the call centre on the 24 Dec 2013 to cancel that booking and re book for 1 night I was told I would be charged for the change and expected to be refunded the original charge for 2 nights within 7 -10 days (which discovery say is usual turn around time) I am still awaiting a refund till today I called the call centre thrice to follow up on this, the first time I was told I would be called back in 48hrs with feedback... I am still waiting, the second time I was told I would just have to be patient as they are checking their call recordings of my booking and the third time I was told they confirming amount for my refund with southern sun which made no sense as the payment was made to discovery.also on checking, the hotel wouldnt allow us to have breakfasg for 4 ppl, they said vitality only booked for 2, this was a real inconvenience and took 2 hours to sort out especially since vitality is closed on a Saturday, I did expect some sort of compensation for all this hassle and expected higher service delivery from discovery who are usually excellent at this area
