I Have been a member of Discovery for several years and in the last 5 years was diagnosed with Rumatoit Arthritis. Since this event I have informed Discovery about my condition and advised them that I'm not able to use the gym as this disease affects your joints and that the doctor has advised that the only exercise for me should be swimming as appose of using any other equipment.
To date Discovery Vitality still persist in penalizing me for not using the guy and wants to charge me an ridicules figure to use a gym with a swimming pool when clearly my condition is stated on all their records.
*One Discovery should have a doctor on site who could advised their staff according.
*Two their staff is incompetent in dealing with chronic diseases patience and one has to feel bad about your situation after having a conversation with them. And having to explain your conditions to them several times.
*Being a Classic Compressive or any other patient of Discovery I would like to believe that their products offered to chronic patients are based on individual situation as appose to following process or being a number.
