I had a medical aid with Discovery since May, when completing the application forms I did so in a hurry as I have a highly stressfull Job and I hardly take lunch. After I applied for chronic medication I was informed by the financial advisor that helped me Dudu Dubazane that discovery wants to end my Medical aid as I did not diclose that I suffer from Hypertension. I filled out the forms in a hurry therefor I did not see the question about Hypertension as ithe financial advisor indicated to me that it was with the question about heart disease which I do not suffer. A lady from discovery called me and asked me about this I explained I didn't see the hypertension in the question or else I would have disclosed this information. I was disgusted as she was very rude and disrespectful and she didn't want to really listen to my side of the story. Yes I do suffer from Hypertension but now discovery has cancelled my contract and told I can never apply fo medical aid with them. It was a human error. I was in a hurry and my financial advisor did not help me to complete the form. This was the poorest service from a medical aid I've ever received.
