So Vitality say: Get a Garmin GPS logger that connects to the internet and download your workouts to earn points. So I do exactly that and spend a load of cash to buy a Garmin forerunner 310XT which does exactly that which Vitality says they want. The only hitch when I try and run the Vitality app (Garmin choice) that downloads the data it goes into nowhere and no downloads, no instructions.
So I phone and ask why. Customer service says its an IT problem and they will revert in 3 working days. That was 3 weeks ago and surprise, I'm still waiting.
Why breach of contract? I have done exactly what they stated I should do to earn the points, but their systems cannot or will not accept the data, hence I earn no points. This is in my view at best, disingenuous marketing, at worst a simple but effective. Either way, a breach on their part of their obligations to perform and provide the points.
SO don't believe that Vitality do what they promise - at all. Its simply not true.
Jim Foot - They have my number and have promised to call. I am prepared to testify to this under oath, so I'm happy if they know who is complaining. These are the facts, biased but true
