I suffer from chronic back and shoulder pain and have to visit a chiropractor and a physiotherapist at least once a month for pain relief, I have recently had a lumber infiltration to try and relief the constant back pain. This only helped for a short while. I was advised that the next step would be a back operation which will fuse my vertebrae together. The doctor is not advising this at this time as i am to young. I am currently finding it harder and harder to do basic daily functions. I am living in pain. I also have fibromyalgia. I am trying to do pilates and excercising with a biokinetikus this is not helping. The only other alternative is to have a breast reduction as my breast is very large and that is what causes my constant back ache and shoulder pain. I have appealed to my medical aid to please help as this is not for cosmetic reasons. I have also sent them motivation letters from all my doctors but they refuse to ever consider this as a procedure to help me. It just makes basic economic sense to me that they consider paying or even partially pay for this procedure before they need to pay for a back operation, rehabilitation and and and.
