I went for a massage and facial to the Saxon Spa in Sandhurst on the 23rd of January 2013.
My experience, to say the least, was appalling!
I was so excited to enjoy my treatments at this wonderful spa. What was supposed to be an afternoon of pure luxury and relaxation turned into the most frustrating spa experiences of my life.
Halfway into my massage my therapist started falling asleep! I could clearly feel when she was nodding off as her pressure completely disappeared. On to the facial and here I thought it was not possible for her to fall asleep but to my horror during almost every phase of the facial.By this stage I was so frustrated and I wanted to leave but as I am paying almost R900 for this facial I stuck it out. I mailed the spa with my frustration, to be told they are saddened to hear this as this particular therapist was voted the "Best Therapist" many times. As a gesture they would give me one third of what I spent back in a voucher to compensate. Unacceptable!! I do not know what to do as I feel completely ripped off. The compensation voucher is not even enough to cover one of the treatments I did.
