We have a state plus medical aid - BUT- my husband has kidney failure and the state hospitals will not treat him as he does not fall under the criteria as he is 62 years old. We then had to go to a private doctor and he has to use a private hospital. This was all done and you paid for this, needless to say after a lengthy struggle and back and forth letters and telephone calls.
He was hospitalized and the tube was inserted and the account was settled in full by yourselves. Then he needed a iron infusion and once again, hospitalized and the account paid (after another struggle) paid for.
On the 29th of August he was rushed to hospital as he had a virus inside his body (in the cavities) and the doctor had to admit him as he was seriously ill. They took blood samples to identify the virus and you were contacted and we received an authorization number for the 29th (this was about 7 the evening). He had to stay another day and the hospital contacted you to inform you about this. Now we have received the account and we noted that you only paid R1329.00 and nothing towards the blood test. What is happening? I have sent an e-mail to you but have had no response. Please advise.
