My partner got ill on feb 2 and I rushed her to Garden city hospital as we were told at work that this is our hospital, we got there and as she was on the emergency bed we were told that my medical aid is not accepted at this hospital, I asked them to double check and was turned away, she became worse I the too her to discovery hospital where the doctor told me he suspected a kidney infection as she was shivering and her temperature was very high, he gave her an injection and referred me emergency to Helen joseph hospital where they put her on a drip and took blood samples and we had to wait for the results, we only got the results the sunday morning and she was transferred to selby hospital where she was put on a special drip iv that Helen joseph did not have.
She was at selby until Wednesday 6 feb and discharged with antibiotics,
WHAT IF HER LIFE WAS IN DANGER AT THE TIME, WHAT IF HER KIDNEYS FAILED, WHAT WOULD I HAVE DONE, she was in such distress she nearly died and this made me so angry, I am still angry
WHAT IN FUTURE IF SOMETHING HAPPEN TO ME WHAT WILL WE DO
This matter must be investigated and I need proof of what hospitals I am allowed to used as I pay m
