Tshwane District Hospital
Hospital Refused Admission

My worker fell ill in November 2012.
He was brought to the hospital.
They only did vitality check and send him back.
About /-2 weeks later, I tried to have him admitted to the hospital again, because his condition deteriorated.
They wanted to send him home again. I refused. Finally, they agreed to do a checkup at the Skinner Clinic.
He was sent home the same day with painkillers and medication for his stomach.
He went home to his family over Christmas / New Year.
His condition deteriorated further.
I asked him to come back.
We went to a private GP, had blood test and ultra sonic scan done in a private hospital.
The doctor concluded, that my worker is in a life threatening condition and needs to be hospitalized immeditately.
I went again to the Tshwane District Hospital to have him admitted.
They were very reluctant to take him - "he can still walk and talk".
When I mentioned, that he may die if he does not receive medical attention ASAP, the lady replied :
"everybody has to die one day - so what"!!??
My worker is now in hospital and I am not sure, if he is going to survive.

Independent of the outcome -
his family should hire a good lawyer and claim damage.
