Vitality informed me to maintain my Gym contract I needed to go certain number of times. I emailed Discovery to explain that my father passed away. I asked for Grace period as my emotional state was extremely heightened & I would need some time to bury my father, help my mother & family to cope with this devastating loss. I manage to go a few times hoping that it would ease my emotional stress but it was difficult, I was more times in tears. I am short approx. 6-8 visits & DISCOVERY DOESNT CARE. DISCOVERY NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT TIME IS THE ONLY HEALER, I understand that DISCOVERY is a "BUSINESS" but Discovery need to understand that effort was made by notifying DISCOVERY of my situation way before time. This shows DISCOVERY only want your MONEY & REFUSE to assist their members, if you are planning on choosing DISCOVERY-BEWARE! You are just a number & that is it. I have been a member since 1999 & with the gym since 1999.That is 14yrs of my loyalty for DISCOVERY TO REGARD ME WITH ZERO COMPASION.SHOCKING.As for the consultant I spoke today at Discovery Ref: 3003056541, argumentative, zero compassion & EXTREMELY UNHELPFULL but she nailed it on the head, Discovery is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
