Hosmed Medical Scheme
UNAUTHORISED CLAIM STILL UNPAID

In July 2012, my specialist and myself contacted Hosmed to obtain an auth number for a procedure to be performed. Hosmed then granted authorization, however - 1 year and nearly 4 months down the line, I'm advised that this account still hasnt been paid.

Upon calling Hosmed this morning, I was advised that the account had to be submitted to management again for it to be settled.

This is absolute nonsence as both myself and the doctor submitted this account shortly ofter my procedure was performed.
