I urgently need a Bone Density Test. I have funds in my Specialist Benefit to cover this but am told I have to be referred by my GP to a Specialist and only then it will be subject to approval. If I go directly to the GP then Radiologists I will have to pay out of pocket. So it seems payment must go to the GP, then the Specialist and then the Radiologist.
I don't understand your methods and neither do I know if this will be covered by yourselves. Would also like to know why my Husband was referred to a Specialist by our Doctor and he is not on the Network Plan. We have paid him R597.00 and owe him R1293.59. He refused to look on the lists for Medication and we have had to spend a fortune on that. My Husband is not better and he is threatening to take us to court by end of August if we do not pay this amount.
