Disgusting service!!

I contacted Selfmed via their website on the 12th of June 2013 and a consultant named Stefan Fourie emailed me back. We made an appointment for the 13th of June 2013 at 14h00.

We explained to Stefan that I am pregnant (at that stage about 6 weeks). He said it would not be a problem, and that the medical aid would cover doctors visits as well as gynecologist visits as from the 1st of July 2013. His words were, you may go to the doctor after you receive your card, after the first premium has been deducted. The first premium would be deducted on the 30th of June 2013, where after I would receive my card. On the 13th of June 2013, Selfmed emailed me my policy, Stefan was copied on this email. Before I could even reply to the email, Stefan answered to advise them to go ahead.

I only received my card on the 20th of July 2013. I then saw they had made extra exclusions, over and obove my pregnancy. The card stated I had a 3 month waiting period. This was never discussed during our meeting. I cancelled the policy and requested a refund. Only after a long argument did they agreed to refund me.

I still havent received my refund, everyday I phone, I get told a different story
