I wrote to hello Peter about a similar experience in June. Lamictin 200mg has not been dispensed to me for the past three months due to a supplier shortage. When I tried to receive the generic (that had been previously approved by chronic dept) this week I was told that the chronic approval had expired. This means that payment for it would be taken out of my savings, for a supplier shortage that is not my problem. I asked to have it reinstated UNTIL the lamictin became available again. I have just received a call saying that the generic is approved but they have 'expired' the lamictin 200mg as both drugs can not be on the same approval. This is utterly ridiculous and was perfectly possible in June. Please please please sort this out properly. The last time I had this problem it took going to Hello Peter to get any action.
