Vitality giving me problems

After joining the gym a week later a consultant tells me about vitality. I have a discovery life policy so I can link the vitality to the life policy. After paying the once off fee with the gym and as well as the card costs a person think that you can join. I have joined since beginning of June and everytime i go their is problem with my sons card. In the meantime my whole family discussed to join discovery medical aid and this is only activated beginning August now Vitality since he will only be activated then. How is this possible my life policy still have the vitality till end July. This is really bad service and they say wait to August for their faults.
