I have to attend the gym 10 times before the end of the month, this notice I receive 16 days before the end of the month. There is no way I can attend gym that many times unless I just walk in swipe card and walk out which is not honest thus I ask discovery vitality to cancel my gym membership (which they will do anyway if I do not meet the 10 times requirement) effective July because I want to join Run/Walk for life at their special price this month, saving more than R200. Discovery vitality is refusing! (And I'm not a paying member so they will not be out of pocket.) Discovery vitality says this is their policy 1 month notice BUT a friend (who is a paying member) could cancel their membership with immediate effect to join! My question is CONSISTANCY??? Why I'm I not allowed to do the same? I do not want to be a gym member I want to be a run/walk for life member!!! Please Discovery vitality assist!!!
