When I checked in I was told my non-smoking room double bed had been given away because I was single and I now had a choice of either a single bed or a double in a smoking room! The single bed was far too small for my size! The story then changed that I'd made a mistake on my booking and had booked a double smoking room, having never smoked highly unlikely! After going on line and checking with my travel agent - Amex, it appeared that there were still double non-smoking rooms on offer for the night. All of a sudden a double room was then made available, at no point did anyone say sorry, it was implied that I was being done a favour! Well if that is the attitude we will avoid the hotel like the plague! Tried to complain twice on the website, 29/05 & 21/06 and once via phone 29/07, no one cares!
