Fedhealth Medical Scheme
Chronic Medication claim declined

My wife is registered for Chronic Medication Benefit at Fedhealth, she had been receiving the medication at Clicks pharmacy for many months, and all of a sudden the claim was declined on the 12th July 2013, with no reasons given. I made an enquiry to Fedhealth on 15 JULY -call center, where I was told that there has been no claim registered, and I must check with the pharmacy! -This, after I had received an acknowledgement email about the declined claim! I then sent an email to Fedhealth on 23 July requesting a resolution to this. I received an email from Gwyneth Subremine informing me that they were handling the query and will get back to me shortly. It is now the 25th July, and I made a call through to Fedhealth, again-where the first operator transferred me to their "Chronic Dept." where I spoke to Arlien van Wyk-she told me someone from the Client Services must help me and she would contact someone directly. She returned to me the following day saying that the claim will be paid. When I re-visited the Pharmacy on 28.07.2013-The claim still wouldn't go through for payment. I pay over R7000 for medical aid each month, and this is the kind of service I receive!!
