To whom it my concern,
I have been waiting for a week now for Pre_authorisation to get back to me on what cost they would cover for me to see a specialist (ENT) outside their network / preferred partners. I called this morning to follow up (week later) and the request has not been followed up and it will take another 5-7 work days from today!!! I asked the consultant if she can phone me back as the phone call is getting long and pricey... she said no, its an inbound call centre. I pay over R3000 a month for Discovery and they are too cheap to call me? 29 minutes on the phone... so far. Typing this while waiting on discovery. As soon as this operation is done - cancelling discovery. Paid over R100 000 over last 5 years to discovery.
I am flying abroad in a month and needed the operation this week!!
