We had to pay in advance for the 'quaint littjlcottage' at Seadise Cottages at La Lucia. Not knowing Durban we booked and was asked for the full payment in advance. Arriving after dark on a Friday evening and not knowing where else to stay we had no oyher option but to stay. The 'quaint little cottage' as described on Where to [URL Removed] is littke larger that the double bed. Of the full DSTV (it changed online in the meantime) there was nothing but the basic DSTV bouquet. The cleaning on Fridays, Wednesdays, and Mondays never happened. Not that you can actually clean a place the size of a bathroom. We never saw the owner, except on the Monday morning when we left and only after she ran into the house twice when she saw me coming out of the cottage. I can definitely NOT recommend this accommodation. I got the feeling that this was all about the money and nothing about hospitality.
