TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE DOGS

Wednesday, 30 Jan, my father phoned Maselspoort to ask availability of their cottages for 5 adults and 1 baby. They told him that they have no cottages available in that size, all they could give us is a 4 bedroom cottage and a 2 bedroom cottage. He hung up. My husband and I were already on the road from Cape Town to Bloemfontein. When we arrived there Thursday morning, 31 January 2013 at 8am, we went to make a booking. My husband said that we were 5 Adults and 1 baby and the lady told him that they only have a 4 bedroom cottage (no. 14) and a 2 bedroom cottage (no.32) available. She gave us the keys and we paid in full for both rooms for 2 nights. Later that morning they phoned and told us that no.14 is being renovated, we will be staying in no.9. When we arrived at no.9 we saw it was a 5 bedroom and big enough for us. When we returned no.32's keys, they said that we already booked and paid and won't get our money back. Mr Kroon was very rude and did not even want to listen to what I had to say. If we knew they had a 5 bedroom cottage we would have booked it from the beginning! They made us pay for room we NEVER USED! And they accused us of lying. Mr Kroon is an arrogant rude man!
