Petfriendly accomodation booked in May '13 for December '13. Booked a fenced cottage but booking was changed by management to unfenced place, reason given was first choice cottage closing down. Fencing on 'new' cottage would be erected before our arrival. Was in frequent contact with Trish regarding fencing, always stated that it would happen. Drove 1580km's to find fencing not completed! Also cottage was in state of disrepair (rusty fireplace, broken doorframes, mould, dirty kitchen etc). We were very disappointed! At least the bedrooms were neat and clean. We stayed one night (were booked for 11 nights). Left the farm and struggled for days to find other petfriendly accomodation it being peak season. We discussed all the above with owner of farm and were refunded all our money about a week later.
Another disappointment was that whilst walking around the farm we found that the original cottage we had booked was not closed down and that it was occupied!!
