In the month of February I had a procedure done wherby afterwards the doctor inserted an IUD device. Afterwards I started experiencing pain and visited my GP for a check up, referred me to a radiologist who did a ultrasound and to my shock I was informed that the device was placed in the wrong position, thus not performing the duty its intended for. So the incompetent and negligent staff (qualified nurses and doctors) from Marie Stopes Clinic sent me away thinking I am ok and will not have complications. I found this service to be highly unprofessional and disturbing to say the least. I would like to know if they will be paying for my medical procedure to remove this device seeing as it was their negligence that forced me to take these measures now.
