I find it quite discriminating that only the top medical plans are able to have the Woolworths 25% back healthy food benefit. I wrote to discovery vitality, to ask why. In simple terms they replied that "some of their members" don't use the pick and pay healthy cash back food benefit because they shop at Woolworths! Amazingly they are the ones not on a hospital plan package.
In other words, people on the classic core - hospital plan- in their minds, can't afford to shop at Woolworths. Their reply was that they want all the members to eat more healthy foods. If that is the case then when I shop at Woolworths I too should get the benefit. They even suggested that I upgrade my plan, in order to receive it Now thats discrimination at its best!!!
