Woolworth healthy benefit not offered to ALL mbrs

Vitality has just recently reintroduced Woolworths as one of their partners, where you can get up to 25% cash back on relevant purchases. I was extremely excited about this benefit as most of my healthy food is purchased at Woolworths. I originally got the Discovery credit card for this benefit way back when they launched the credit card.
On trying to activate this benefit, I was informed hospital plan members do not qualify for this benefit. As far as I am aware, this is one of the only vitality "cash back' benefits that discriminates against the membership type. I am extremely disappointed in Discovery and don't understand their basis of discrimination. On enquiringly about this, i have been informed that other members have also raised this as an issue but at this stage, Discovery do not feel it is important enough to reverse their original decision.
This is not openly advertised at Woolworths tellers.
Just because members opt for the hospital plan option does not mean they should not recieve the benefit. We can afford the other ad options but choose to manage our medicals costs ourselves. In fact i have only recently "dropped" to a hospital plan - prior years count for nothing
