Gym membership cancelled as result to incompetence

Due to faulty data capturing by Vitality, I had no membership and only got it activated after 5 months, I had to pay my fees for five months although I did not have the benefit of the membership. It was not an easy task to catch up to my minimum required gym visits, which was now increased, over a twelve month period. I missed one gym visit over Easter, due to group classes being cancelled without prior notice at Virgin Active, and my membership was cancelled, I tried to phone in to resolve the issue, but all the details pertaining to this administrative mess, was not logged on their administrative system they religiously hold you to! The consultant, advised me to log my concerns by e-mail and request it to be revised.By May 2nd, I sent it through and I had no feedback from Vitality... Yet again, not being able to train or go to gym for another 5 weeks, I log another complaint to them via e-mail and this time around a lady phoned me back and again religiously use the same jargon of "the system reflects you failed to meet the minimum visits to the gym" by 1! And "according to our system..." which caused this mess in the first place, I am now penalized and they refuse to reinstate
