I went for a wisdom tooth removal op on the 10/04. i called the medical aid and got authorization number, with the dentist details who will be processing the op. i was told everything will be deducted from my hospital plan and my saving will remain the same, to my shock 2 weeks later they had paid the dentist from my savings, (which i use for my day-day drs visit). i called the medical aid on the 7/05 spoke to Tarquinn and i was told they can pick up the error and they will escalate to be sorted. i called a week later still told the same thing that it has been escalated. on the 21/05 i called and demanded to speak to someone senior and the guy by the name of Amlen confirmed they had a system issue and will escalate for it to be sorted out. Tarquinn called me on the 22/05 and said the accounts department says they is no error the op was to be deducted from my savings, he himself confirmed that he doesn't agree with them and will escalate further, how long should i wait till this query gets resolved. I'm paying R4000 on medical aid to make sure my family is covered and this is the bad services i get. what is the use of taking my dr to the dr if i'm not going to be covered for med
