Our company had been duped into taking a hire contract with Canon. After taking ownership of the machine, It has broken down and I would like to take it to a service centre. This is impossible as SmartOffice are the ONLY company that repairs these machines. Called and a very rude person told me that there is no service centre to take the machine to AND that they would charge R600 just for a callout fee!!! I called the Head office in JHB and spoke to a Jeets. This person also could not give me an option of not using SmartOffice. I have experienced very bad service from SmartOffice in the past and do not want to use their services. I will not use Canon ever again! Worst after sales service and transparency with contracts!!
