I purchased an Apple iMac from the Apple iStore gateway mall Durban. A very few months later, the PC refused to power on and was taken to the iStore to be booked in for repairs. My experience thereafter is as follows:
1.The repair center took nearly if not just more than a month to fix the PC. Feedback on the repair was almost non-existent until near the end. I left a message for the technician to return my call which he/she never did return. My further concern was that almost every component on the PC was to be replaced, from power supply to graphics adaptor, etc. absolutely shocking for a newly purchased PC.
2. I contacted the iStore and requested to be given a new PC but of the same model as I was unhappy of buying this expensive PC and it being stripped and inserted with new components only a few months later, the quality assurance on this product failed if it was performed in any case. I had left several messages and only a few were returned now and then.
I now plan to obtain a full refund and not purchase any other Apple product due to this experience.
I was informed by the Apple store manager to obtain a Refund and purchase the new model which is more expensive, really now?
