CC641486668SE / Package was booked for shipment to South Africa on 20.01.2024 and I paid for a service and turn over time for 3/5 working days NOT weeks. This package was stuck at JIMC HUB from 08.02.2024 - 23.02.2024. After calling several days within these weeks, I just received responses that said the package arrived but was not scanned yet. In all these weeks they could not scan this package? Yesterday 29.02. 2024 my son had to go himself to the Port Elizabeth HUB to collect the package and upon collecting this package he noticed that this package was opened. No here is the thing, the only reasons why this long relay will be 2 things, 1- delay from customs due to item had to be cleared as they might have picked up something that are to be investigated of which this was not the case with my package. 2- There are visual evidence that the package was opened or tempered with and the package could not be scanned. I was NEVER contacted with regards to this. Items was removed from this package and the laptop was damaged and cannot switch on at all. I ask my son to keep the box as I was told Rat got in the box which this is a lie as there are no damage to the box that clearly identify that rats got in the box and if that was the case, how did the rats remove the missing items? Also how did the rats caused the damage to the laptop. Yes, there was rats in that box as some of the chocolate slabs that was left behind in this package, you can clearly see that the rats was eating it and the rats could only have got entry to the box if someone left the box unsealed which this was the case. Also the clear broad tape I used to seal the box this was tempered with and another type of tape was on the box that I did to use at all. This is of grate disappointment to know that Postnord place there trust and values in a counter partner that they believe that will deliver the services they promise to ALL there customers and clients. The what was really bad and disgusting is that my son had to pay R470,00 to collect a damaged open package where items was stolen. To inform you when it comes to professional courier companies, the moment a box or package looks suspicious that is was tempered with or even damage, this will be investigated and the client will NOT pay this fees as this has become an official claim. So, who gets the money on these kind of bad services that the client or customer has to stand for and why are we being ripped off in this manner? Please review ALL the complaints comments on your site where people states that your services are NOT realisable and items going missing. And then again where is the countability and your part of responsibility on a service you are providing to the public and on top of this ALL the European counter partners that are making use of your services, are NOT aware what is going on and how we are all be ripped off and this will be made known to all. This I will make sure of. I need my laptop to be replaced as this was a new laptop and had no dents and scratches on it. This was meant for my son to have a laptop for his school purpose as this was a requirement from the school. This case are to be handled as an official claim and I need to be compensated for this and at this point I really do not care who and which partners or counter partners are to get involve in this as this case is clear to me that it is theft and malicious damage to property of value.
