I have owned a Samsung galaxy Tablet for approximately 18 months, it suddenly stopped working one day, after being sent for repairs i am told that it will cost R1000 to fix becasue there is a faulty battery. A faulty battery means that there is something wrong with this battery from a manufacturing and quality perpsective i.e nothing i have done. Why should i have to pay for a faulty battery when i have already paid for the tablet? surely this is a Samsung problem not mine? I also had a Samsung S3 phone, it didn't even last 18 months of the 24 month contract. The screen broke (R2500 to fix), the on/off button resets itself and while backing up information it deleted all 736 contacts that i use for business. Nobody could locate these contacts. I have changed my cell phone to an Iphone as a result and based on the recent damage to my tablet, it looks like i will be getting an Ipad instead, I am also going to actively not purchase ANYTHING Samsung anymire. I am disgusted that i speant R16 000 on two electronics and they both broke within 18 months!
