Faulty samsung s4

To my disappointment I upgraded to Samsung galaxy s4 and not only one of them but two
I have the same problem with my phones, not one of them but both, my husband's phones battery is swollen up and
The phone also switches on and off, you have to charge it twice a day. And both the phones also gets extremely hot. i already had one replaced and again the same problem. with all the poor/bad comments i see for this phones i wonder if only a batch or all the samsung batteries was not faulty.

My samsung galaxy s2 is 3 years old and the battery is still fine.

Please samsung advise what we can do, im not going to pay for a new battery- surely not if the phone still gets hot as afterwards.
