DSTV installation results in of a camera

On 21 September 2013 two Elsat/Ellies employees arrived at my house to install a new Dstv dish & decoder.
In the span of an hour, they installed it & also decided to a Sony handycam to the value of R2000! When reporting this to the company, this is what was said basically: We sincerely regret this incident and I must just clear up that said employee is from Lenox Installations does not officially work for Elsat. We sub-contract our installations to accredited installers. I am not convinced it could have been this employee but I do not know his team members only him. He is in general a respectful and reliable installer.
In my opinion, someone has got to be accountable for this. It is not just a matter of dumping it off on to another company! What matters is that Ellies coordinated the installation and they should have given me some form of indication of what procedures will be followed in terms of Lenox? What they should have said was apologies and we will investigate the matter - I didn't need to know what they think of the employee! I didn't want excuses.
