Reported a faulty fridge in January, one month before the manufacturer's warranty expired. Repairman eventually made it to my house after I had to chase the call centre numerous times for an update. Repairman advised me to defrost the fridge and left. Fridge worked for 2 weeks before stopping. Repairman came out again, moved the fridge to another spot and advised me to defrost it again i.e. no actual repair work was done on either call. Fridge worked for 2 weeks before stopping again. Called the Service Centre and was advised that I would need to pay for the repairman's next call out as the fridge is now out of warranty and the repairman's guarantee is only for 1 month (the fact that the fridge worked for two weeks after the repairman merely instructed me to defrost it is apparently considered evidence of a successful resolution). I refused to pay and the Service centre advised that they will check with the head office and revert. It has now been 14 days and I have still not had a definitive response from them. After sales service is pathetic, the service centre commits to calling back customers and doesn't, before leaving on the dot at 16h30 everyday. I still have a broken fridge.
