Just over a month ago we called the Samsung call centre to report that our fridge had stopped working after 11 months and needed to have it repaired. we were advised by the call centre that they would first require us to switch the fridge off and defrost it for a few days and if the problem persists to call back and book a repair. Doing this we left for work only to be called by our domestic later that day to say that two men had arrived in a white bakkie to collect our fridge and said that they had been sent by SAMSUNG. The domestic being aware of the faulty fridge allowed them to take it but took down their number plate just in case. As we knew that we had been advised that it could not be repaired we contacted the call centre to enquire around the pick up. The call centre promptly advised us that they had not sent anyone from Samsung and that they would not be held liable. This is OBVIOUSLY an inside job and we have had a friend of our advise of a similar occurrence in their complex. You would think that for such a large reputable brand Samsung would try and assist? They have told us that in a nutshell it is not their problem. Surely management are not aware of this???
