On Sat 26/01/2013 around 12h00 I drove to the Soundmatch Athlone branch to have my car's aerial repaired. Once there I got a quote, and at the same time enquired about the fitment of two additional speakers for which I also received a quote. I enquired as to how long I'd have to wait before a technician could proceed and was told approximately an hour. Quite a long wait I thought, but I was already there and decided to wait it out.
One hour later I was still waiting. Upon enquiry, "we haven't forgot about you, we'll see to you shortly", was the response. I once again confirmed costing of both jobs.
Two hours later I was still waiting. Same response.
At about 14h30, almost 3 hours later, with no apology for the wait a technician proceeded to replace my old aerial. After about 10/15min he said "all done! ". Confused as I thought he'd also install the speakers, I was referred to the guy who I booked the job with.
He in turn told me that they're closing at 15h00, and that they can't help me now. I would have to return another time.
No apology, no 'you can skip the queue next time', nothing. Just a shrug of the shoulders.
