I write the following with great discontent: I decided to install a central-locking system on my 2009 Toyota Yaris. As SoundMatch in Athlone gave me the best quote I decided to take it to them. Big mistake! In the past two years, I've taken the car back on several occasions, requesting that they fix it as the alarm works, the doors don't actually lock, and jumps open on the click of the immobiliser. For two years, I've been driving around with the car like this, which is a frightening thought. I suspect it's something to do with the actuator on the back door, as the back door doesn't want to open at all - weird, I know! So after Soundmatch personnel fiddled with it, the problem persisted. But the best part of all is the last time I took it back, they told me there are pirate parts in my vehicle (central locking), which they claim they didn't install. The vehicle is a demo model which I bought from a reputable dealership. There has never been a central-locking in, besides the one SoundMatch installed! They sure have a nerve, and I'm completely disgusted by the way they handle their clients. I strongly suggest that NO ONE ever installs a central locking system at SoundMatch Athlone.
