My LG Truesteam Dishwasher (2012) trays are rusting away. Within 6 months of purchase I noticed the first area where rust was breaking through the lower tray's protective coating.
I was told that I must have damaged the coating and that is causing the rust.
Since then (8 months later) all the trays are rusting in various spots (about 7 rust spots).
I appealed to LG, stating that I am very careful not to damage the coating, and surely nobody can honestly believe that the outbreak of rust all over, could be continues neglect from my side.
LG's response: It's not covered in the guarantee and I must buy new trays!!!
Unbelievable!!!
