I bought a LG dishwasher from Game at the end of October 2012. As it was an "older" model, the price was lower than the latest model on the floor. I noticed a month ago that the door was making a noise when you open or closed it, and decided to investigate. I removed the dishmasher from its place and found that the floor underneath was wet. Upon further investigation I saw that there was rust on the non stainless steel sections.
I reported it to Game and they were told by the local LG agent that the guarantee does not cover rust. On explaining that there is a leak, I was told that they will fix the leak.
Two days later the repair agent phoned, and during the discussion he told me that the reason I paid less for the machine was because it was second hand, and therefor the warrantee is no longer valid.
I then investigated the machine further and found that the slider on the top right-hand side of the machine was never fully secured, and that it was the cause of all the problems. I told Game this as well as the message from the service agent and that is where the story ended.
I have yet to hear from either party.
