I have a galaxy s4 and as everyone knows, it has an internationally known problem with the battery swelling and as a result, the phone shuts down and says battery empty hardly an hour after fully charging it.

I went to the Samsung store in Fourways to enquire whether they had the replacement battery facility that was launched a few weeks ago, naturally, I brought all my receipts to prove purchase. I asked about the facility and they flat out ignored my query, they didn't even show any knowledge of the problem. I don't know whether they didn't want to replace the battery or genuinely were not aware of the facility. I have a friend who had his s4 battery replaced in Durban with no hassles. Could someone please shed some light on the replacement facility. This battery problem is frustrating and uninterested staff only aggravates the situation, I am not unreasonable, I just need information as to why the facility is available in Durban and not in Joburg.

This is very disappointing from a company of such great service in my past experience because I have only ever used Samsung handsets.
