Good Day.
Please could someone assist me.
My daughter bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 at the Capi Electronics store in OR Tambo on 29/06/2013.
The phone's battery swelled up about 3 months ago and she (at first) thought that it was just the battery.
We went to a Samsung store in Eastgate and got a replacement battery.
It is now November and the second battery is almost as swelled up as the first one.
She went back to CAPI today (19/11/2013) and asked them to take the phone to be replaced.
They said that all Samsung would do was repair the phone.
I have looked this problem up online and it seems to be a fault with the phone and not just the battery. There are multiple reports of this same problem on Hello Peter, and on international sites.
I would prefer if the phone was replaced and not repaired as there are reports of the issue reoccurring after a repair.
I would like to find out what I would need to do in order to get the phone replaced?
If someone from Samsung could please contact me I would appreciate it.
Thank you.
