I logged a service call with LG's call center that my fridge was not cooling. The fridge is out of warranty.
Service agent phones insist to have look first. They came and said they don't have parts. 2 week later they arrive without phoning to arrange when I am not there. I do arrive the same day. I am under the impression it was electronic problem I asked them if they have a multimeter and they said they didn't bring one with. They make the fridge work using a "direct connection" They regassed, replaced drier and cap tube. They saw the fridge was going cold and blowing air so they assumed everything was working. I then bought meat and put it but the freezer wasn't freezing so the meat eventually went off.
1. Sounds like gas leak sounds in area where they worked I suspect they caused it
2. doesn't look like quality repair applied black tape melted
3. Job card promise date is 19/9 but happened 14/10.
4. LG service fee R450 worse than free quote normal repair of going direct
5. Assigned agent not in same city and I have to pay him directly but never logged with him
Lost faith in LG and LG agents. Excepted long wait to get quality repair. Got opposite. I regret phoning.
