I bought a TV on 12/05/2013 from Audio Vision in Canal Walk and was very chuffed with the purchase, however by 07/06/2013 the USB port had stopped working; I called in and they were going to have someone call me 10/06/2013, but no one ever did. on 30/06/2013 I decided to take the TV in myself as no one had called and it had now been 3 weeks since my initial complaint. I was told that I was unable to get a new unit as the 7 day period had lapsed and that I could not get a refund as well, they would however send it away to their service department and have them repair it as it was still warranted. I waited another 3 weeks and no call back on 28/07/2013 I then decided to go back to Audio Vision Canal Walk to demand my money back, I was told what the procedure was and I followed. On 30/07/2013 I was sent an email from the manager which was initially sent from the service department claiming that I was negligent and that I would have to pay R795 for the repairs, the email was dated 30/07/2013 (after I demanded the refund). It seems that no Audio Vision store has the interest of the client at heart, they are also causing people to not want to buy Samsung products at this rate. UNHAPPY
