Will not connect

I have a Samsung S3, which is one of the greatest phones on the market yet my phone constantly battles to make calls where by it just freezes. I have ensured that it is not a download overload or due to a lack of memory, thus it is a fault within my samsung phone. My wifi also decides to work only when it chooses and I find it difficult to connect and stay connected to wifi services.
