Bad Attitude and lack of results

I bought an LG Fridge on 30 May 2013 and once installed one of the components did not work. I was out of town for the week and only had a chance to report this to LG on Friday 10 June. The team in the call centre said they can only help me on Monday or Tuesday. Monday arrived and I was called to say they will arrive after 10 on Tuesday. At least I had someone in the house to let them in so this was fine. They never arrived and I had to take time off work as my people had to leave around 14:00. I phoned around 16:30 and was told, they can not do anything about it and I should phone again tomorrow and when pushed, had the phone put down in my ear. Now I am supposed to follow up on this, and take more time off work to wait for repairs on a unit that was bought faulty. This is unacceptable treatment of a customer and even worse that LG would sell a unit that is not working and then do nothing to assist in righting their mistake.
