Finance Department refuses to answer their phones

I received a letter in the post on 15/04/2013 regarding my account at Unisa stating that I must pay a certain amount by 31/03/2013 (i.e. 15 days after the due date for payment), which resulted in my modules being suspended. I subsequently paid the outstanding amount and tried to get hold of the accounts department to query the status of my account/ modules.

I phoned the numbers provided (0124292441/ 0124292341) and sat with it ringing for 7 minutes, somebody then picked up the phone and placed it on the counter and ignored the call completely, they then cut the call. I tried again straight away, and the same thing happened.

Why do these people even work there if they don't want to do their job?! Incompetence in these large institutions makes me mad!!

All I need is some help regarding my account and to ensure that I will still be eligible for my exams, but they are too busy doing NOTHING that they can't help me.
