I completed certain subjects at Wits and then transferred to Unisa. I requested credits and certain ones were granted immediately. The others I was told were under consideration by the academics. This has now been ongoing for more than 8 months. I have stressed the urgency of the matter as I should be finished my degree. I sent another email and decided to register for all the remaining subjects knowing that should they be granted I will be refunded and the subjects cancelled but if I did not register and they were not given I would have wasted 6 months (perhaps more). My response to my latest email is that I don't have a problem any more as I have registered, in effect ignoring the entire situation. I am at my wits end! In addition to the frustration of unsatisfactory responses they take weeks to reply especially the credits department and thenjust repeat the same thing or pass it to another department.
