A salesperson from C&K Moneyline came to sell their Sharetrackin product to us. This is a tool (programme) to assist & train you in trading shares on the JSE. We are not complaining about the product, we are complaining about the way in which the product was sold to us. We were told that if we buy with our credit card & pick the budget option, we will not pay any interest if we pay back premiums within 55 days of each payment. This is a complete lie! Instead the whole amount of R14, 950 was deducted from our straight facility & not from our budget facility as was the agreement. We called our bank after we saw this amount on our bank statements & they informed us that you cannot pay premiums back on the budget facility without paying interest immediately. When we complained to the company about this, they just refused to take responsibility for their sales representatives who bring people under the wrong impression. The only reason why we picked this option was because we couldn't afford this amount once off. Please be very wary when approaced by C&K Moneyline which falls under Investor's Choice!
